Hosting & Cancellations

Draft for alpha · Revision 4 · September 7, 2026.

Publish a clear invitation

Identify the responsible organizer and accurately describe the format, language, schedule, time zone, duration, available places, and registration method. State whether you offer peer practice, certified facilitation, a workshop, or another format.

Show the total price and currency, including mandatory fees, before payment. Make clear whether a donation is optional. Do not describe a required payment as a donation or a paid event as free.

Disclose prerequisites, camera expectations, observation and recording arrangements, and late-arrival rules before registration. Provide an appropriate contact route for participants without exposing another person's private contact details.

Hosting permissions and images

Publish only events you are authorized to represent. Use your own or properly permitted photographs and artwork. Do not upload private certification evidence as a public cover.

Describe your credentials accurately and do not imply official endorsement or affiliation. About & Independence explains the certification checkmark.

Availability and admission

Keep places and session status accurate. Close admission when you cannot welcome participants, and mark a session live only when it is actually available to join.

Use appropriate meeting access controls and keep host-only links private. Recording, AI notes, and observers require the advance disclosures and agreement described in the Community Guidelines.

Changes and cancellations

Notify registered participants promptly of a cancellation or material change through the registration provider or another agreed contact channel. Hub booking and cancellation updates appear in participants' accounts. Hosts remain responsible for making sure material changes reach their participants, including those registered elsewhere. For recurring events, explain whether a change affects one occurrence or the whole series.

For every paid event, disclose cancellation and refund terms before payment. Cover participant cancellation deadlines and time zones, no-shows, organizer cancellation, rescheduling, fees, and how to request a refund. Do not retroactively worsen an existing booking's terms. Preserve rights provided by applicable law.

External registration and payments

The Work Hub does not collect payments or issue refunds. For registrations handled elsewhere, identify the seller and provider, link to their terms, and explain where participants request refunds.

Raise concerns about a misleading listing through its reporting option.
